In considering the dynamic ecological relationships between animals in a food chain, this project attempts to examine the spatial, temporal, and scalar implications of this dynamic through the concept of boundaries.

At the core of this exploration lies the notion of the variety of animals’ physical body size, and utilizing a porous boundary as a filter of scale.

As the boundaries limit certain creatures to specific domains, while allowing others the pass freely, the architecture enables a set of unique interchanges between the animals.

A domestic program is organized within an interstitial zone between a predator and its prey, and contains its own set of restrictive circumstances resulting from the parameters of the animal space.
