About

Ben is currently an Architect at HMFH Architects in Cambridge, MA. Previously he has worked for Murdough Design in Concord, MA, and AC Höcek Architecture in New York City. He is versed in design research, schematic and conceptual design, as well as detailing and construction documentation.

Ben holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York. In a rigorous course of study, he developed a rich and eclectic skill set that connects the digital and analogue worlds of architectural production and representation. Having arrived in architecture from a social science background, his work is infused with a social consciousness that seeks to investigate how function, materiality, and context converge in an ecological way to produce user-friendly spaces. He likes thinking about projects at a range of scales, and in particular the functionality of the urban environment.
