As Project Designer, we were inspired by this penthouse apartment’s stunning view of the Hudson River. The project focuses on the framing of light and views in a way that become revealed as one traverses through the residence.

800 SF apartment on the 16th floor.

Through a series of design moves centered around opening up the entire western exposure with floor-to-ceiling windows, a cinematic reveal of the view heightens the spatial experience.

Throughout the apartment, views are framed in several portals to the outside, including a dramatic hallway skylight (A), and a tilted custom bay window (O).

The kitchen is an important place for the family, because home cooking is an integral part of their lifestyle.
